About this event

Every Monday DJs, Managers, Media, and Talent from across the country gather at the Makin' It Magazine offices to network over free food and drinks.

Guests participate in free studio sessions and content shoots while listening to the latest songs added to The Kickback's Spotify Playlist.

Open guest list is limited to the first 35 RSVPs each week!

Playlist Placement

Even if you're not attending the event, you can still register to get your song added to the playlist. All songs will be played during the event and remain on the playlist for one week. The playlist is also posted to 11,000 followers on Instagram and emailed to more than 40,000 industry contacts.

Who is the Kickback for?

We created the Kickback to provide a chill environment for DJs, Artists, Producers, Songwriters, Media, Content Creators, Videographers, Photographers, Fashion Brands, and Music Industry Professionals to organically connect with eachother.

How can I get my Music Played at Event?

All songs added to the Spotify playlist for that week will be played in rotation during the event. You can reserve a placement on the playlist even if you will not be attending the event. The event will be live-streamed, giving you an opportunity to see how people respond to your music.

How Can I Partner with the Kickback?

Each week, we have openings for a featured a media partner, musical guest, and event sponsor. To learn more about thses options, contact our team for details.

How can I setup a Meet & Greet or Listening Party?

We offer personal Listening Party packages starting at $1,500. This includes space rental, event planning, and up to 30 days of promotion. Save money and book your Meet & Greet or Listening Party during The Kickback for only $750.
