MySpace has just unveiled a new Facebook app that allows users to sync their band pages with their Facebook Pages. While I believe this is definitely a huge step in the right direction, this latest offering wreaks more of desperation than innovation. After totally abandoning independent artists in the pursuit of advertising dollars from major labels, MySpace comes crawling back with yet another 3rd party application that looks to accommodate the needs of independent artists for FaceBook, but falls far short of competitors such as Reverbnation.
