Public Relations Assistant

We are looking for an individual or firm to assist with public relations for the magazine and its various programs. Selected candidate must have strong communication skills and experience in generating awareness. Must be highly motivated, persuasive, persistent, creative and intelligent. Primary responsibilities will be creating press releases, building relationships with various media outlets, email marketing and developing innovative ways of generating exposure. We are seeking candidates that have or are currently seeking a degree in communications, journalism, marketing or public relations. Qualified applicants must also be computer proficient and experienced with Email, Online Research and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
