People always ask "How did you get that name"? The answer to that question is kind of deep. It started when his homie named him "Play J" because of the playalistic and free lifestyle. Then a few years later Play J Snip was inspired by the animated film "Jack Frost". He related to the main character in the film who changed his name to "Snip" in pursuit of his dream girl.
The name represents two sides of his personality. "Play J" the wild and carefree. And "Snip" the responsible side searching for love.
