As hip-hop continues to evolve and many industry players are exposed for one reason or another, it's important that we get back in touch with the basics. It's important for the community to discuss what is "real hip hop," what does it mean to us, and how do we continue to thrive in hip-hop as a whole and individually.
We tend to leave the conversation at music, but we all know there's much more to the hip-hop conversation than what producer/rapper is dictating the sound at the moment.
