Otto's Wednesday Jam & Open Mic is a combination open jam and open mic. As far as the open mic aspect of the evening we aim primarily for a singer/songwriter aesthetic. The evening starts at roughly 8 pm and goes till roughly midnight or a bit later. There is a signup sheet there, people just signup when they get there, there is no advance signup. Please say hello to me when you get there, my name is Ira Zadikow, I'm the organizer of the jam. The open jam is a fairly typical jam with music genres including rock and roll, blues, r&b, soul, funk, Americana, jammy, etc. We do NOT lean at all towards heavy metal, hard rock, hip-hop, rap or jazz. The room is a small room, volumes will not be that loud, relatively speaking.
