Mark After Dark is not new to the stage. As the drummer for punk rock bands 2 Star Cigar and Peasant's Choice, and hip hop band The Jams, he has played clubs, house parties, sketchy underground shows, even a church. MAD has never performed solo, but that all changed over the weekend. "I drove all over town to get my gear and my MPC broke an hour before set time. I switched to my laptop and hit the stage and just freestyled", Mark recalls. He will be back on stage next Monday at The Riptide in SF.
