Full Bio
KiiWii Babe, born Markia Grant, is an independent R&B artist and songwriter originally from Orlando, Florida, and now based in Atlanta, Georgia. Blending raw emotion, confidence, vulnerability, and an unapologetic urban edge, KiiWii Babe creates music rooted in real-life experiences—turning love, heartbreak, self-worth, pain, growth, and determination into her own form of storytelling.
Before stepping fully into the spotlight as an artist, KiiWii Babe developed her creative foundation behind the scenes through YNT Magazine, photography, artist management, and visual media. Those experiences helped shape an artist who approaches music as more than just sound. For KiiWii Babe, the music, visuals, image, and story all work together.
Her 2026 single “Say My FKN Name” marked an important chapter in that journey. Released April 26, 2026, the record is a bold statement about knowing your worth and demanding recognition after being overlooked or underestimated. The release helped introduce a larger audience to KiiWii Babe’s fearless approach to R&B and earned playlist recognition as her independent movement continued to grow.
That momentum carried into “Hungry for More,” representing both KiiWii Babe’s ambition and her refusal to stop pushing forward. The title reflects an artist who has experienced setbacks but remains determined to create, evolve, and build something that belongs to her.
At the heart of KiiWii Babe’s artistry is authenticity. She doesn’t present a picture-perfect journey. Instead, she allows the victories, disappointments, relationships, mistakes, confidence, and personal growth to become part of the music.
With an Orlando foundation, an Atlanta presence, and an independent mindset, KiiWii Babe is building her catalog and her story one record at a time.
She isn’t waiting for somebody to say her name. She’s giving them a reason to remember it.
