Sunday, August 21., RocNation's Chase J will be hosting an exclusive workshop for Producers and Songwriters at a SAE Atlanta Institute.. PenGame creates an interactive and intenstive learning experience for upcoming songwriters that will teach them the tools to take their music to the next level, and aspiring songwriters the ability to use their instrument to create their own original music. In addition, the class will go in deepth on topics about the business of music; PROS, split sheets, publishing, management, and more!
The Master Class
This portion of event will break down the steps to writing a great record, taught by Chase and guest A&R Chris J (Atlantic Rec.) including but not limited to:
Selecting A Track
Concept
Melody
Lyrics
Vocal Production
Songwriters and the business of music
Small Group/Interactive Session
After the teaching portion, the class will then be broken into small groups, where attendees will pick an original beat to write to for our featured artist R&B Group, Levi Johnson with Chase and the artist offering personally critique each record. Each Class Member will also be given a copy of the course curriculum and information packet containing helpful tips, need to know resources and an exclusive Who's Looking List!
