Joe Budden pops up as a rapper on NBC's Law & Order

Joe Budden made a surprise acting appearance on NBC's Law & Order, playing a rapper connected to a murder victim through the art scene. In the Oct. 29 episode, detectives question him; he has a solid alibi but points them toward new leads. The podcast host started out as a rapper himself, and the cameo shows how a personality-driven brand can open doors into scripted TV well beyond music.
