Ye's Houston Halloween show sets stadium rap attendance record

Ye packed Houston's Reliant Stadium on Halloween night for his first show in the city since 2019, drawing more than 80,000 fans to a nearly three-hour set that the venue says set a U.S. record for a stadium rap concert. Playboi Carti joined him onstage, and the run continues near Dallas on Nov. 7 and Phoenix on Nov. 21. For working artists, it is a reminder that a show framed as a one-night event can move huge ticket numbers.
