On May 29th, the DurttyBoyz team up with some of the hottest names in the game and unite for the biggest independent music artist showcase in Atlanta, #BattleGrounds

Reputable names like MMG, DTLR, Rich Gang, Atlanta’s own Hoodrich and more all come together for this event to highlight some of the hardest working indies in Atlanta and beyond. For some who may not know, Battlegrounds is an open mic hosted by the Hot 107.9 DurttyBoyz allowing up to 25 upcoming indies to share the stage and showcase their talent, music, skills, etc. 

Slots are first come first serve and there are three brackets and prizes:

1st Place Winner:

– Mixtape Hosted by Gambino uploaded to Indy Livemixtapes (10 records)
– Song Posted on Hot 107.9 Webpage with over 1M views daily
– Song Placement on Audiomack or Soundcloud
– Song Played on Hot 107.9 Battlegrounds
– Online Radio Interview with Urban 365 + MORE
– Studio Time (2 Hours)
– Shoutout on the radio
– Post on DurttyBoyz IG Page

2nd Place Winner:

3rd Place Winner:
– Battlegrounds Trophy

How You Will Be Judged:
– The number of supporters you bring out
– The quality of the record (mixing and mastering, sound, hook, direction, beat, etc.)
– Your stage presence (energy, crowd participation, delivery, etc.)
