Drake's 'God's Plan' certified double Diamond, a rap first

Drake's "God's Plan" is now certified double Diamond (20x Platinum) by the RIAA, the highest certification ever for a hip-hop song, part of a batch of 30 new upgrades that also took Views to Diamond. That Grape Juice reports the haul makes him the first act in RIAA history with more than 100 Platinum titles, and it landed on the eve of his 40th birthday. For working artists, it is proof that a catalog keeps paying long after release week.
