Faith Evans ordered to pay $12.5M to Biggie's mother's trust
Faith Evans, who manages The Notorious B.I.G.'s intellectual property, has been ordered by Delaware's Court of Chancery to pay $12.5 million in estate profits to the Voletta Wallace Revocable Trust, close to $14 million with interest. The trust claimed a 25% share of estate revenue, including income from the Primary Wave catalog deal, and the money is set to go to the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation. For artists, it is a sharp reminder to get estate and ownership paperwork airtight early.
