In this project, Roane describes how his battle with religion has shaped him as an individual. In the title track ' Twisted', he mentions that "destiny is upon me, but my purpose is still unknown. Destination never clarified, just want You to point which way to go." He struggles with understanding the contrast between "knowledge is power" and "ignorance is bliss" and reminds us all that "we're smarter than we've ever been, but maybe that's a curse." Roane is proving that fortune favors the bold. Walking away from his 9-5 to immerse himself in the industry, Roane kicked off 2021 with a video shoot for his hip hop epic, "Wilderness" featuring New Jersey artist, Samad Savage. During the taping of the video and Kickback Podcast, the two developed a strong rapport leading to a planned East Coast trip. Later in the month, a random lunch meeting with Royce Da 5'9" brand manager, Smoothvega, blossomed into being booked to open for Dizzy Wright show in Texas.

In Volume 1 of his 4 part "Let Em Know" series, Roane showcases a wide variety of flows over beats produced by ShonzyBeatz, AnnoDomini, and more! He spends most of his time impersonating what he defines as a, "standard mainstream hip hop artist." Occasionally though, he does break out of character and more into the realm of authenticity with lines like, "And I'm thinking I'm cool with myself cuz I'm corny as hell but that's something I think I could pop." This project feels like a setup EP to something BIG.
