Atlanta-based artist, lyricist and creative HDQTRS (pronounced “Headquarters”) isn’t waiting to be discovered—he’s building the résumé in real time.

Through @HQDroppingTuesday, HDQTRS is undertaking an ambitious independent music campaign: releasing one original record every Tuesday for 52 consecutive weeks. Rather than stretching a traditional album across a year, the campaign turns the entire year into the project—52 opportunities to showcase range, consistency, songwriting, production and evolution.

A U.S. Air Force veteran with a background in fine arts and media, HDQTRS approaches music with both discipline and creative independence. Rooted in Atlanta and raised in the Lithonia area, his sound carries Southern hip-hop DNA without being confined by it. His catalog moves comfortably between lyric-driven records, smooth Southern grooves, introspective music, R&B-influenced production and records built simply to move a crowd.

But the bigger story isn’t just how much music he’s releasing.

It’s whether an independent artist can turn consistency into leverage.

Every Tuesday adds another chapter. Every song expands the catalog. Every visual, performance, interview and new listener becomes part of a documented 52-week journey designed to prove what can happen when an independent artist stops waiting for permission and starts operating with purpose.
