Bio
Just The Empress is an Atlanta-based hip-hop and melodic rap artist whose music blends clever bars, melody, humor, confidence, and honest storytelling. With nearly a decade of experience and more than 100 live performances across Arizona and Atlanta, she has built a career that stretches beyond traditional releases into live performance, television, film, and sync licensing.
Her music has been featured across Netflix, BET+, Hulu, HBO Max, VH1, OWN, and Prime Video, with placements including “We Run This” in Netflix’s Running Point and “How I Make Moves” in Virgin River. Her catalog has also appeared in The Impact Atlanta, The Sex Lives of College Girls, Darby and the Dead, The Kings of Napa, My Celebrity Dream Wedding, and Caught in the Act.
In 2025, her single “Hypnotized” reached the Top 32 of T-Pain’s March Music Madness, adding another milestone to a journey that has included opening for artists such as Baby Tate, Shordie Shordie, Lil Tjay, and Leikeli47. She was also named Best Performing Artist of the Year by Black Only LLC.
In 2026, Just The Empress released Protectin’ My Peace, a 10-track collaborative project, and brought her early Natural EP back to listeners through a re-release. Her next chapter puts an even greater focus on artist development and performance as she participates in Da Brat’s artist development boot camp, with her journey featured on the Brat & Judy vertical series on Facebook.
From sync placements to the stage, Just The Empress is building a career around music that can live in more than one space—and a catalog that continues to open new doors.
