Zay Frost

Zay Frost is an independent R&B singer, songwriter, and the voice behind a movement to bring real R&B back to the forefront of music. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, and now based in Atlanta, Georgia, Zay is building his name through music rooted in emotion, vulnerability, soulful harmonies, and the kind of love songs that make people feel something.

His love for music started at an early age, watching Michael Jackson in his grandfather’s living room. That experience helped shape his appreciation for performance, melody, and the power of music to connect with people. His grandfather remains a major part of his motivation, inspiring him to continue chasing his dream and honoring the promise he made to himself along the way.

Since beginning his official music journey in 2022, Zay Frost has continued developing a sound that brings together the feeling of classic R&B with a modern approach. His music explores love, attraction, relationships, heartbreak, and the emotions people sometimes struggle to put into words. Whether he’s singing about falling for somebody, dealing with complicated feelings, or being honest about what a relationship means to him, his goal is to make music people can connect to on a personal level.

Known for records like “Private,” “I Want It,” and his album I’m The One, Zay has continued building his catalog while establishing his identity as an artist who values substance over trends. His project Phase One, released under his earlier musical identity, Haraitio, represents an important part of his growth and the journey that helped shape the artist he is today. His single “Look at You” adds another chapter to that story, bringing listeners into a space centered on attraction, chemistry, and the feelings that come with being drawn to somebody.

Beyond the music, Zay Frost is the founder of FrostMix ENT, LLC, and is focused on building a lasting independent career through consistent releases, visual content, collaborations, and direct connections with his audience. His approach is about more than chasing a viral moment. He wants people to know the music, connect with the message, and grow with him as an artist.

Zay’s journey has also brought him into Atlanta’s music community, including recording at Bravo Ocean Studios and meeting industry figures such as Da Brat. He continues to develop his craft, expand his reach, and create opportunities that move his career forward while staying true to his sound and vision.

At the heart of the Zay Frost brand is a simple belief: R&B ain’t dead. He represents a style of music that leaves room for genuine emotion, meaningful lyrics, strong vocal arrangements, and the kind of harmonies that stay with you long after the song ends. His vision is to help bring that feeling back to the forefront while creating music that speaks to people from different backgrounds and generations.

With Dayton roots, an Atlanta foundation, and a clear commitment to his craft, Zay Frost is continuing to build his name on his own terms. He isn’t just trying to be heard for a moment; he wants to build a connection with listeners that lasts.

His mission is to make and entertain to the soul so the souls can be filled.
