Makin’ It Magazine’s first annual Media Matters Soundstage was a huge success. Writers and representatives from AllHipHop.com, BallerAlert.com, WhyCauseICan.com, Hip Hop Weekly, HipHopSince1987.com, OMHHI.com, Livemixtapes, Worldstar and a ton of other independent media outlets came thru. Our online radio partner K100 Radio was there for the live remote complete with on air interviews for featured performers including Uncle Murda, Syari Da Kid, Demarcus Rashad, Wave Chapelle, The Honorable C-Note, Koache, The Shop Boyz, Renegade Hip Hop, Grand Hustle’s Yung Booke and MORE. We want to give a big shout out to all of the real music fans, sponsors, media outlets and talent that made this event such a success. Our goal for this event was to create an environment where talent and media could connect on a more personal level and lead to securing real media placements. I am proud to say that mission was accomplished. Now, its time to enjoy SxSW and get ready for next year!
