This year for SXSW, I hit the streets of Austin with Makin’ It Mag. I rode their bus, along with about 25 artists, producers, DJs and media. It was really networking on wheels. We exchanged info, had freestyle sessions and discussions about our journeys and experiences in the industry. MIM produced 4 shows at SXSW, which were all amazing. A couple mimbers I’ve been following for a while, Yoshi and Rodski, killed their sets at Media Matters and I met Fiya the Beat Box Queen there too. It was an awesome trip.
