DMV Artist Benxett got the chance to make history by creating, and designing, the Black Lives Matter Signs on Black Lives Matter Plaza. When asked how he felt about making the sign, Benxett reveals that he is extremely proud of his accomplishment, and hopes others take pride away from this historic moment. Wanting to continue to be a voice of his people, Benxett also dropped a new single "Get the Message" which speaks on the social climate of today- and the frustrations people have been facing daily.

With his new single "Hold 'Em Up' approaching its release date on April 25th, Benxett has been slowly building his name in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. Having already been selected to share the stage with larger acts such as WillThaRapper, and 30h Black, Benxett now sets his eyes on new sights. Working with Eddie Kane, and Sixxess, Benxett plans to perform this inevitable hit single to a sold out audience. Preordering for "Hold Em Up" begins April 18th.
