Songwriter, Producer, and all around Artist, KKwatson is a real CHANGE-YOUR-LIFE story. After 12 years in prison (from 17 to 29—essentially growing up inside a state penitentiary), he’s released more than 60+ songs and never just one genre (poetry, electronica, and hip hop instrumentals). Now June 2020 marks 5 years home for KK and he’s searching for the best Beatmakers to focus on hip-hop for the next stage of his career. Rapper and Producer KKwatson has been a Mimber @ MakinItMag for more than 2 years; his hip-hop instrumental music has been selected for promo CD's through Mimbership events, he's been featured in the 32nd print issue, and this Winter 2019 he'll visit ATL to release his debut, feature-length album A NOVELLA, asking MakinItMag to host the launch party showcase. Makin' It Mag Mimber, KKwatson, has been busy over the last four months--releasing two singles and two albums through the rising distribution service of Songtradr.com. He's also been finalizing his publishing deal with UK record label HummingBird Music. His latest instrumental album, Aurora Moments, is filled with experimental and vibey trap beats, and you can listen to the album streaming on all major platforms. Consistency and determination pay off for site Mimber KKwatson, who just landed a non-exclusive publishing deal with sync-heavy label Hummingbird Music out of the UK. Hummingbird Music is the label department branch of SixtyFourMusic, whose advertising placements include brands like AT&T, Toyota, Heineken, UPS, and Mercedes.
